EYC Nominating Committee

The 2008 Nominating Committee has posted their announcement at the Club House requesting EYC Voting Members inputs for the 2008 Executive Board slate. Interview dates, 15 minutes in length, have been set up for September 2,3,4,9,10, & 11 starting at 7PM and will be held at the Eastport Yacht Center. The sessions will all be strictly confidential and the Committee is seeking Members opinions/thoughts regarding the overall ability and direction of the 2008 Board with respect to

• thoughts and opinions regarding the overall ability and direction of the 2008 Board;
• thoughts and opinions with respect to specific Club issues and opportunities, (whether favorable or unfavorable)
• thoughts and opinions with respect to specific Board members (whether positive or negative);
• thoughts regarding Voting Members who might make good 2009 Board members or any members (including spouses) who might make good leaders; and
• other thoughts and opinions regarding the future direction of the Club that should be considered by the Nominating Committee and/or the 2009 Board.

Your unbiased inputs are essential in letting the 2009 Executive Board know the desires of the Membership prior to their assumption of duties.
